Our F1-methodology engineering pipeline drives every decision from concept to competition. Every system is data-informed, prototype-tested, and competition-ready.

CAD MODELLING & CFD

Full 3D model constructed in Fusion 360 with iterative CFD analysis passes. Drag and downforce coefficients are validated in simulation before cutting begins. Every surface curve is optimised for laminar airflow separation.

THE
COMPETITION

F1 in Schools is the world's largest STEM competition, challenging students to design, manufacture, and race miniature CO₂-powered cars — all while managing a real team, budget, and brand identity.

THE CHALLENGE

Teams design an aerodynamic car using CAD software, simulate it with CFD, manufacture it on a CNC machine, and race it on a 20-metre track — reaching speeds up to 80 km/h in under a second.

CAD Phase 3 Complete — CFD Validation Underway

Our Fusion 360 model has cleared Phase 3 sign-off. CFD simulation passes are ongoing to finalise drag coefficient targets ahead of the machining window in April.
